Gareth Mills

Gareth Mills is a strategic and hands-on Chief Operating Officer with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling and transforming technology-led businesses across wearable health monitoring, connected hardware, consumer electronics, software, industrial technology and regulated environments.

He has held full executive responsibility for multi-million-pound P&Ls, cash, working capital, enterprise risk, major commercial negotiations, legal agreements and complex contractual relationships.

Gareth has deep experience leading internal and outsourced product development from initial concept through engineering, industrialisation, regulatory approval, new product introduction, volume manufacturing, global distribution and ongoing customer support.

He has built and led multidisciplinary teams spanning electronics, sensors, mechanical design, firmware, mobile applications, cloud software, machine learning, manufacturing engineering, quality, regulatory compliance, supply chain and customer operations — with strong strategic relationships across global contract manufacturers, third-party logistics providers and product development specialists.

Holding a PhD focused on the factors that drive business success, Gareth combines academic research with extensive practical experience. Rather than applying generic frameworks, he builds operating systems tailored to each organisation’s stage of growth, commercial objectives and market — leaving teams with the processes, governance and capability to scale with confidence.
